The plaza needed to provide a high-quality useable public space that is protected from Hostile Vehicle attacks (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation or HVM). Townscape’s bespoke seating and planters fully meet the architectural aspirations of the specifier PLP.

The iroko timber used was specifically chosen to be untreated and to slowly age to a uniform grey. The prestige white smooth finish of the concrete units is designed to have a timeless appeal. All units are hand cast using artisan precast concrete techniques refined over Townscapes 47-year history with their unique HVM feature being having no detrimental effect on the aesthetics.
