42 Townscape Penny Bollards were used to create a functional public space in Tower Hamlets. Used as a community outdoor space, Oval Space is a multi-purpose venue with over 5,000 square feet of unobstructed statement space, in a unique London setting.

The concrete bollards were installed in location adjacent to the iconic Bethnal Green gasholders, Oval Space is used for all kinds of events from corporate functions, product launches, fashion shows, to small and large-scale stills, TV and film shoots.

The architectural team was led by Abhinav Kurup from London Borough of Tower Hamlets, constructor JB Riney.
